July 4, 2024 in Beech Community will kick-off with the parade at 10:00am. Everyone is invited, please lineup by 9:45am on Roberts Cove Road if you would like to participate.

This year’s program, which is the 140th consecutive year and the 100th anniversary of the building, will feature Judy Craggs and Mary Smith as speakers and includes the history of the local grist mill. Thank you to Rick Hensley for the idea. The Brank Family will be providing the music for the program. Bring your favorite dishes to share with friends and neighbors. Field games end the day for the young and young at heart.

We will decorate the building on Saturday, June 29 from 10:00am – 12:00pm. Your support decorating is welcomed and appreciated. If you would like to donate baked goods, jams, jelly, plants, flowers, or crafts for the country store please contact Emily at 828 778 0023.
