We're excited to share about the opening of Mabel Bakery, owned and operated by talented Beech area baker Sarah Easterling! Located on 175 Weaverville Road (Merrimon Ave), Suite V in Woodfin , Mabel Bakery offers a delicious selection of fresh pastries made with care and creativity. πͺ Sweet Impact Bake Sale - Fri Dec 20th 5pm-8pm (in AVL)
Several Beech Residents are active baking for the supporting the Sweet Impact Bake Sale this Friday Dec 20 at Lexington Glassworks. The event is a fundraiser for hurricane recovery and features several great Beech area bakers including Sarah Easterling! Join the fun and get tickets in advance.
π² Pot Luck Dinners to Resume - Sat Jan 11th 5pm-7pm
The beloved Beech neighborhood Pot Luck Dinners will resume on Saturday, January 11! These gatherings are a fantastic way to catch up with neighbors, share delicious homemade dishes, and strengthen our community bonds. The event will take place at the Beech Community Center starting at 5pm. Bring a dish to share and come ready to enjoy great food and conversation. We canβt wait to see everyone there!
π« Helene Recovery Support Group - Wed Jan 15th 6pm-7:30pm
The Helene Recovery Support Group will reconvene Jan 15. It features fellowship, dialogue, and support facilitated by Katherine Kekenes Peterson, RN, AHM-BC. It's a great way to connect with others and deal with stress. All are welcome
π Community Center Christmas Decorations
Thank you to volunteers Cindy Wilson and others for lighting up the community center for the holidays. It was done just in time for last Saturdayβs Christmas Dinner. Reports are that it was a nice event and there was even heat in the building!
